God Of Breakthrough!
Do you know that breakthroughs are usually opposed by powerful spiritual forces? If you’re praying for a breakthrough and not seeing it, do not give up for opposition precedes breakthroughs.
Good example of how forces of darkness oppose our breakthroughs is seen in
Daniel 10:12-14 “Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
From the above bible verse, we see that despite the opposing forces, God still sent a back up angel to help Daniel. Whatever opposing forces is against our breakthroughs, we are confident that our God Who is mightier than any opposing forces will surely give us victory!
And where the enemy is fortified, there is going to be a fierce battle if we are going to achieve a breakthrough. Ephesians 6:16 “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one."
Jesus told His disciples “The Parable of the Persistent Widow” see Luke 18:1 “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up”.
Keep praying and don’t give up! Just like in any large-scale war, there are many smaller battles. Some breakthroughs are achieved relatively quickly; others require long, persevering endurance. But either way, breakthroughs require a determination to keep up the assault. Real spiritual breakthroughs are achieved by concentrated, specific, persistent, prevailing prayer to weaken our spiritual opposition.
God is never early and never late but acts at His own appointed time to deliver us so stand firm and continue to pray like Daniel. When all hope seem lost, hold on to His Word and cling to His promises. Trust God to supernaturally do the impossible in your situation, when we take a step of faith then we will become "agents of breakthrough," unleashing God’s supernatural power to change our impossible situations!
